Hnmm I choose what looks best.
male elementalist
female necro
male ranger
male monk
female war

I don't really see any difference, and I've only ever had one comment from 2 years of playing and I don't really care what others think online anyways.

Male with 24 char slots, 21 male 3 female.

10 chars have completed campaigns (2 - 1 campaign; 4 - 2; 4 - 3); of those 10, 9 are male, 1 female (she's 1 of the 4 to have completed all 3 campaigns).

7 chars that are at various stages in campaigns; 6 male, 1 female.

7 mules; again, 6 and 1.

Being male, I feel more comfortable playing males and, except for the warriors, they all look vaguely like me (or idealized versions of me maybe 25 years ago lol).

I thought, though, that I'd try some female toons for a change of pace. It's been interesting seeing what kind of boorish male behavior women must have to put up with in real life, judging from in-game behavior.

im a guy with both.
Assassin-Female
Monk-Female
Warrior-Female
Necro-Male
Rit-Male
Ele-Female
Mes-Female
Ranger-Female
generic pvp slot-usually always male.

So i think most of the female armour is better looking...and id rather look at a female than a male toon lol.

I'm female, and out of my three primary characters I have two guys and one girl. The one I play most out of the three (my ele) is male. However, he looks to be more effeminate than I am, so it might not count. I always thought it was weird that I've had a tendency to make more male than female characters, since female characters that are actually played by females always seemed to be the minority. Heh! This is changing, though. The 55 monk I started is female, and the warrior I've been playing recently is, too-- because all of the male warriors look like huge meatheads. My boyfriend's characters are about 50/50. Gender; meh.

I'm a male and I seem to fit in the majority here. I have both male and female characters.

I'm Male

I've got 5 PvE and 3 PvP characters so far, of the PvE I've got 4 males and one female.
Ele - Male
Derv - Male
Rit - Male
Warrior - Male
Ranger - Female

When it comes to PvP, I've got a male Monk (gasp. :P), a female Necro, an a slot that varies from a Male Dervish to a Male Paragon. (I don't use my PvE Derv enough to warrant him to PvP standards.)

So in all, 6 male and 2 female. If I make another female character, it'd simply because I like the look of their armour more than the male counterpart. (Was thinking of making a PvE female Necro)

1) I'm male, with exclusively male characters; I have passed the mental age of getting wound up by virtual female appearances and all my characters (especially my RPG-necro) are edifices to my own person.

Male, First char ever E/N Male.
Then W, Mo, R, E, Ne, Rt, P, D all Female. I just like to play with females what can I say . Also I'd rather stare to a female char for the whole day, then a bulky, dorky Guy. That's just me imo.

Female / female

I too tend to play by watching the condition / enchantment icons and the radar, and holding down cntrl a lot to locate targets. so I aint got time to sit there staring at my character. I also don't think guys playing as girls makes them perverted, whoever implied that.
